512. Agnes Corinne⁸ VAN GUNDY (Robert Elmer⁷, Daniel William⁶, John⁵, David Jr⁴, David Sr³, Peter Sr², Male¹) was born in Morocco, Newton Co, IN April 16, 1912. Agnes died March 12, 1976 in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 63 years of age. Her body was interred March 15, 1976 in Greenhill Cem, Sullivan, Moultrie Co, IL.

She married Emmett Nethel YOUNG in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 1412 Moultrie, April 28, 1928. Emmett was born in Caneyville, KY October 16, 1904. Emmett died in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL. His body was interred in Greenhill Cem, Sullivan, Moultrie Co, IL. At 27 years of age Emmett became the father of Robert Elmer YOUNG in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 1612 Prairie, the home of h, March 8, 1932. At 28 years of age Emmett became the father of Edna Louise YOUNG in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 1612 Prairie, the home of h, August 9, 1933. At 33 years of age Emmett became the father of Joyce Joan YOUNG in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 2509 Bway, March 26, 1938. At 40 years of age Emmett became the father of Roger Dean YOUNG in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 2509 Bway, November 14, 1944. At 45 years of age Emmett became the father of Emmett Nethel, Jr "Buddy" YOUNG in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, January 1, 1950. Emmet was a brother to Henry Everett Young, who married Agnes' sister, Laura. He attended school to only the 3rd grade but that did not hinder him in obtaining a good job. He was employed for years by as a cement finisher for Walker Construction in Mattoon, IL.

At 19 years of age Agnes became the mother of Robert Elmer YOUNG in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 1612 Prairie, the home of h, March 8, 1932. At 21 years of age Agnes became the mother of Edna Louise YOUNG in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 1612 Prairie, the home of h, August 9, 1933. At 25 years of age Agnes became the mother of Joyce Joan YOUNG in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 2509 Bway, March 26, 1938. At 32 years of age Agnes became the mother of Roger Dean YOUNG in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 2509 Bway, November 14, 1944. At 37 years of age Agnes became the mother of Emmett Nethel, Jr "Buddy" YOUNG in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, January 1, 1950. Agnes was a Licensed Practical Nurse, receiving her license after her children were nearly all grown. She belonged to the First Christian Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the VFW Auxiliary.

Agnes Corinne VAN GUNDY and Emmett Nethel YOUNG had the following children:

569 iv. Roger Dean YOUNG was born in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 2509 Bway November 14, 1944. Roger died November 16, 1944 in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at less than one year of age. His body was interred in Greenhill Cem, Sullivan, Moultrie Co, IL.
