518. Ella Carrie⁸ VAN GUNDY (Robert Elmer⁷, Daniel William⁶, John⁵, David Jr⁴, David Sr³, Peter Sr², Male¹) was born in Morocco, Newton Co, IN April 18, 1921. Ella died October 21, 1997 in Decatur, Macon Co, IL, at 76 years of age. Her body was interred October 24, 1997 in Dodge Grove Cem, Mattoon, Coles Co, IL.

She married three times. She married Louis, Jr NIHISER. Louis, was born November 3, 1918. Louis, died December 13, 1982 in Urbana, Champaign Co, IL, Carle Hospital, at 64 years of age. His body was interred in Dodge Grove Cem, Mattoon, Coles Co, IL. She married Roy Stewart. Although Ella and Roy never married, everyone thought they were because they were constant companions and he was totally devoted to her.

She married Harry Fay "Bud" PARKISON November 28, 1938. Harry was born in Pana, Christian Co, IL June 12, 1917. Harry died December 8, 1976 in Pana, Christian Co, IL, at 59 years of age. His body was interred in Linwood Cem, Pana, Christian Co, IL. At 22 years of age Harry became the father of Donald Wayne PARKISON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, April 24, 1940. At 24 years of age Harry became the father of Richard Harry PARKISON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, June 12, 1941. At 26 years of age Harry became the father of Arthur Earl PARKISON July 9, 1943. At 27 years of age Harry became the father of Linda Gail PARKISON July 12, 1944. At 28 years of age Harry became the father of Stanley Joe PARKISON November 16, 1945. He was inducted into US Army on 6/1945 and discharged 11/1945.

At 19 years of age Ella became the mother of Donald Wayne PARKISON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, April 24, 1940. At 20 years of age Ella became the mother of Richard Harry PARKISON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, June 12, 1941. At 22 years of age Ella became the mother of Arthur Earl PARKISON July 9, 1943. At 23 years of age Ella became the mother of Linda Gail PARKISON July 12, 1944. At 24 years of age Ella became the mother of Stanley Joe PARKISON November 16, 1945. Ella was a candle lighter for her sister, June's, wedding.

Ella Carrie VAN GUNDY and Harry Fay "Bud" PARKISON had the following children:

588 i. Donald Wayne⁹ PARKISON was born in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL April 24, 1940. Donald died July 7, 1961 in Claxton, GA, at 21 years of age. His body was interred in Dodge Grove Cem, Mattoon, Coles Co, IL. Wayne served in the US Army from 9/1957 to 7/7/1961.

+ 590 iii. Arthur Earl PARKISON was born July 9, 1943.

+ 591 iv. Linda Gail PARKISON was born July 12, 1944.

+ 592 v. Stanley Joe PARKISON was born November 16, 1945.
