Pauline died June 20, 1997 in Tower Hill, Christian Co, IL, at 66 years of age. Her body was interred June 24, 1997 in Windsor Cem, Windsor, Shelby Co, IL.

She married twice. She married Fred Harlan HENDERSON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, First Christian Church, February 28, 1952. Fred was born February 17, 1928. Fred died May 25, 1988 in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 60 years of age. At 24 years of age Fred became the father of Ronald Steven HENDERSON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, December 20, 1952. At 27 years of age Fred became the father of Peggy Sue HENDERSON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, September 5, 1955. At 28 years of age Fred became the father of John David HENDERSON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, September 29, 1956. At 30 years of age Fred became the father of Karen Maxine HENDERSON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, February 28, 1958. At 31 years of age Fred became the father of Timothy Ray HENDERSON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, January 10, 1960. At 33 years of age Fred became the father of Patricia Marie "Trish" HENDERSON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, July 20, 1961. She married Ferrell Dale Hendrix June 21, 1989. Ferrell was born March 10, 1930. He worked at ADM in Decatur, IL.

At 22 years of age Pauline became the mother of Ronald Steven HENDERSON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, December 20, 1952. At 24 years of age Pauline became the mother of Peggy Sue HENDERSON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, September 5, 1955. At 25 years of age Pauline became the mother of John David HENDERSON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, September 29, 1956. At 27 years of age Pauline became the mother of Karen Maxine HENDERSON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, February 28, 1958. At 29 years of age Pauline became the mother of Timothy Ray HENDERSON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, January 10, 1960. At 30 years of age Pauline became the mother of Patricia Marie "Trish" HENDERSON in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, July 20, 1961. She was maid of honor for the wedding of her sister, June. Sister, Doris, told of Pauline's ingenuity in getting the job done: "Our kids always liked to go to Aunt Paud's house. She was an excellent cook, and everyone just 'did their own thing.' One day Paud was mashing potatoes when her mixer quit. She went to the garage, returned with Fred's drill, and finished mashing the potatoes. Were the kids impressed!"

Pauline Elizabeth "Paud" VAN GUNDY and Fred Harlan HENDERSON had the following children:

608 iv. Karen Maxine HENDERSON was born in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL February 28, 1958. She married twice. She married Edward, Jr Fillmore. She married Bob LEWIS.

+ 610 vi. Patricia Marie "Trish" HENDERSON was born July 20, 1961.
