She married Joe Mack WEBB in Pygott, AR, August 26, 1951. Joe was born August 5, 1930. At 21 years of age Joe became the father of Mack Daniel WEBB in San Antonio, TX, Brooks Air Force Base, July 25, 1952. At 23 years of age Joe became the father of Van Allen WEBB in Atwater, CA, Castle Air Force Base, July 26, 1954. At 28 years of age Joe became the father of Matthew Jay "Matt" WEBB in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, January 20, 1959. At 29 years of age Joe became the father of JoElla WEBB in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, May 18, 1960. Residences & events in his life: 1951 Denver Co. At the time of their marriage he was in the US Air Force, stationed at Lowery Air Base. He served as a tail gunner. 1952 San Antonio, TX. Brooks Air Base was their address when the first son came. 1954 Atwater, CA, while Joe was serving at Castle Air Base, they had their second son. 621 Edgar, Mattoon, IL. Son, Van, would eventually own this house and install a pool in the backyard. For years he was involved in a meat packing house in Charleston, IL, with his father. They were subjects of a newspaper article and photo while at the Wessex Saddleback Assoc meeting giving a meat cutting demonstration. Joe and Doris spoiled the entire family while running the packing house. They accepted orders for X dollars worth of meat, rather than for specific cuts and weights. They always considered the size of the family when filling the orders, sending different varieties from order to order, and occasionally throwing in, for free, extra packages of meat they needed to move. Following the plant's closing, no one knew how much meat it took to feed their families nor what cuts to order for daily meals. There was a lot of trial and error before everyone returned to being normal customers. Later, Joe later bought a gas station and also ran a trucking business in Mattoon, with son, Danny, being one of the drivers. RR, Neoga, IL. Buying property in the country, Joe and Doris moved a short distance east of Neoga. RR, Lerna, IL, where Joe bought a farm of about 300 acres.

At 18 years of age Doris became the mother of Mack Daniel WEBB in San Antonio, TX, Brooks Air Force Base, July 25, 1952. At 20 years of age Doris became the mother of Van Allen WEBB in Atwater, CA, Castle Air Force Base, July 26, 1954. At 24 years of age Doris became the mother of Matthew Jay "Matt" WEBB in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, January 20, 1959. At 26 years of age Doris became the mother of JoElla WEBB in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, May 18, 1960. At the time of her marriage she worked at Wilb Walker's Supermarket in Mattoon. After the meat packing days with her husband, she went to work at the GE plant in Mattoon where she remained for several years before retiring in early 1997. In 1998 she reached the 1 gallon milestone of blood donors.
