Charles became the father of John Frank MCCALEB in Pleasant Hill, IL, November 5, 1897. Residences: 1850 Scott Co, IL.
Charles' parents lived next door to David Van Gundy. 1897 Pleasant Hill, Pike Co, IL, where son, John, was born. 1913 Decatur, Macon
Co, IL. Their oldest daughter was married there.
At 27 years of age Laura became the mother of Caddie MCCALEB March 12, 1885. At 39 years of age Laura became the mother
of John Frank MCCALEB in Pleasant Hill, IL, November 5, 1897.

Caddie MCCALEB was born March 12, 1885. Caddie died after 1969. She married George
C Hoewing in Decatur, Macon Co, IL, 1913. George was born in Atwood, Douglas Co, IL April 25, 1881. George died 1969 in
Decatur, Macon Co, IL, at 88 years of age. His body was interred in Fairlawn Cem, Decatur, Macon Co, IL. George was a teacher turned
building contractor, then was associated with a realty company. In 1928 he was presidenct of the Decatur Lions Club. He was a member of
the First Methodist Church.

John Frank MCCALEB was born in Pleasant Hill, IL November 5, 1897. John died September 1, 1969 in Decatur,
Macon Co, IL, at 71 years of age. His body was interred September 4, 1969 in Fairlawn Cem, Decatur, Macon Co, IL. Never married.
Was disabled, two sisters never married so they could care for him after parents died.
