His body was interred in Bethel Cem, Logan Co, IL. At 24 years of age John became the father of Mary E SMALLWOOD in Scott Co, IL, August 6, 1846. At 26 years of age John became the father of Martha A SMALLWOOD in Scott Co, IL, June 18, 1848. At 27 years of age John became the father of Mahala J SMALLWOOD in Scott Co, IL, January 1850. John was chosen as Highway Commissioner.

347 iv. David A SMALLWOOD was born in Scott Co, IL December 12, 1851. David died December 9, 1852 in Scott Co, IL, at less than one year of age. His body was interred in McCaleb Cem, Bluffs, Scott Co, IL.

348 v. Catherine SMALLWOOD was born in Scott Co, IL October 13, 1852. Catherine died October 12, 1854 in Logan Co, IL, at 1 year of age. Her body was interred in Bethel Cem, Logan Co, IL.

349 vi. Peter SMALLWOOD was born in Scott/Logan Co, IL 1854.

350 vii. Theodore Horace SMALLWOOD was born in Logan Co, IL 1856. Theodore died 1933 in Logan Co, IL, at 77 years of age. His body was interred in Bethel Cem, Logan Co, IL. He married Arabelle Matlock. Arabelle was born 1858. Arabelle died 1932 in Logan Co, IL, at 74 years of age. Her body was interred in Bethel Cem, Logan Co, IL.

351 viii. Theressa F SMALLWOOD was born in Logan Co, IL July 16, 1858. Theressa died January 24, 1859 in Logan Co, IL, at less than one year of age. Her body was interred in Bethel Cem, Logan Co, IL.
