207. Daniel⁵ VAN GUNDY (David Jr⁴, David Sr³, Peter Sr², Male¹) was born in Madison/Morgan Co, IL 1828. Daniel died before 1903.

He married Frances MOOERS in Scott Co, IL, July 19, 1852. Frances was born in OH 1829. At 26 years of age Frances became the mother of Clara VAN GUNDY in IL, 1855. At 29 years of age Frances became the mother of Ida\Celestia Van Gundy in IL, 1858. At 35 years of age Frances became the mother of Augusta VAN GUNDY in IL, 1864. At 38 years of age Frances became the mother of Charles VAN GUNDY in IL, 1867.

At 27 years of age Daniel became the father of Clara VAN GUNDY in IL, 1855. At 30 years of age Daniel became the father of Ida\Celestia Van Gundy in IL, 1858. At 36 years of age Daniel became the father of Augusta VAN GUNDY in IL, 1864. At 39 years of age Daniel became the father of Charles VAN GUNDY in IL, 1867. Daniel was a railroad man. Residences and other events: 1850 Naple, Scott Co, IL. He was listed as a railroad brakeman with $100 in personal property. 1860 Naples, Scott Co, IL. He was at the same place with the same $100 worth of personal property. 1870 Springfield, Sangamon Co, IL. His family was living with a John and Catherine Miller in the census and Daniel was then a baggagemaster with the railroad. 1880 Springfield, IL, 1131 12th St, still a baggagemaster.

Daniel VAN GUNDY and Frances MOOERS had the following children:

355 i. Clara⁶ VAN GUNDY was born in IL 1855. In the 1880 census Clara was a milliner and living with her parents.

356 ii. Ida\Celestia Van Gundy was born in IL 1858. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1877.

357 iii. Augusta VAN GUNDY was born in IL 1864.

358 iv. Charles VAN GUNDY was born in IL 1867. Charles died in Macon Co, IL.
