She married twice. She married Leroy MCDUFFIE in Pokahontus, AR, December 18, 1951. Leroy became the father of Elaine Marie MCDUFFIE in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 1100 Bway, July 7, 1954. Leroy became the father of Tamera Ann MCDUFFIE in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 2509 Bway, February 21, 1958. She married Harland Dean "T-Bone" TINSMAN in Charleston, Coles Co, IL, December 12, 1959. Harland was born in Cumberland Co, IL April 17, 1928. At 32 years of age Harland became the father of Tonya Lynn TINSMAN in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, August 26, 1960. At 33 years of age Harland became the father of Deanna Lee TINSMAN in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, September 26, 1961. At 35 years of age Harland became the father of Harland Dean, Jr "Spook" TINSMAN in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, October 31, 1963. He served his country as a Sgt in the US Air Force during WWII. He started working for Central Illinois Public Service in 1951 and held various positions before retiring as a Groundman Truck Driver in 1993.

At 20 years of age Edna became the mother of Elaine Marie MCDUFFIE in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 1100 Bway, July 7, 1954. At 24 years of age Edna became the mother of Tamera Ann MCDUFFIE in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, at 2509 Bway, February 21, 1958. At 27 years of age Edna became the mother of Tonya Lynn TINSMAN in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, August 26, 1960. At 28 years of age Edna became the mother of Deanna Lee TINSMAN in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, September 26, 1961. At 30 years of age Edna became the mother of Harland Dean, Jr "Spook" TINSMAN in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, October 31, 1963. She was recognized at the 1933 Powell family reunion as the youngest member of the family.
