He married Pamela Ann MILLER in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, August 5, 1978. Pamela was born August 31, 1957. At 21 years of age Pamela became the mother of Derek W FITT in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, December 25, 1978. At 24 years of age Pamela became the mother of David Earl FITT in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, January 14, 1982.

At 23 years of age Dwight became the father of Derek W FITT in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, December 25, 1978. At 26 years of age Dwight became the father of David Earl FITT in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, January 14, 1982. At 37 years of age Dwight became the father of Dane Allen FITT in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL, October 23, 1992. He worked for the railroad in various capacities.
