72. Joseph⁴ VAN GUNDY (David Sr³, Peter Sr², Male¹) was born in Somerset Co, PA about 1800. Joseph died 1824/25 in Pickaway Co, OH, at 25 years of age.

He married Hannah DENNY in Pickaway Co, OH, February 26, 1822. Hannah was born BET 1790 AND 1800. Hannah died February 6, 1845 in Pickaway Co, OH. Her body was interred in Harrison Twp Cem, Pickaway Co, OH. Hannah became the mother of Calvin VAN GUNDY about 1824. Hannah was probably the sister of David Denny, friend of David Van Gundy, Jr. 1830 Salt Creek Twp, Pickaway Co, OH. Joseph having died, at census time she was listed as head of the house at age 30-40 with one son, age 5-10.

Joseph became the father of Calvin VAN GUNDY about 1824.

Joseph VAN GUNDY and Hannah DENNY had the following child:

236 i. Calvin⁵ VAN GUNDY was born about 1824. He was said to be a left handed carpenter.
