At 27 years of age Margaret became the mother of Mary VAN GUNDY February 24, 1803. At 29 years of age Margaret became the mother of Elizabeth "Betsey" VAN GUNDY March 31, 1805. At 31 years of age Margaret became the mother of Susanna VAN GUNDY April 29, 1807. At 33 years of age Margaret became the mother of Leah VAN GUNDY May 11, 1809. At 35 years of age Margaret became the mother of Margaret VAN GUNDY July 9, 1811. At 38 years of age Margaret became the mother of Catherine VAN GUNDY September 18, 1813. At 40 years of age Margaret became the mother of Sarah VAN GUNDY December 2, 1815. At 41 years of age Margaret became the mother of Sophia VAN GUNDY March 2, 1817. At 43 years of age Margaret became the mother of David VAN GUNDY June 28, 1819. At 46 years of age Margaret became the mother of John VAN GUNDY February 11, 1822. At 50 years of age Margaret became the mother of Samuel VAN GUNDY January 28, 1826. At 53 years of age Margaret became the mother of Sarah A VAN GUNDY July 30, 1828.

At 28 years of age Samuel became the father of Mary VAN GUNDY February 24, 1803. At 30 years of age Samuel became the father of Elizabeth "Betsey" VAN GUNDY March 31, 1805. At 32 years of age Samuel became the father of Susanna VAN GUNDY April 29, 1807. At 34 years of age Samuel became the father of Leah VAN GUNDY May 11, 1809. At 36 years of age Samuel became the father of Margaret VAN GUNDY July 9, 1811. At 38 years of age Samuel became the father of Catherine VAN GUNDY September 18, 1813. At 40 years of age Samuel became the father of Sarah VAN GUNDY December 2, 1815. At 42 years of age Samuel became the father of Sophia VAN GUNDY March 2, 1817. At 44 years of age Samuel became the father of David VAN GUNDY June 28, 1819. At 47 years of age Samuel became the father of John VAN GUNDY February 11, 1822. At 51 years of age Samuel became the father of Samuel VAN GUNDY January 28, 1826. At 53 years of age Samuel became the father of Sarah A VAN GUNDY July 30, 1828. This person may not be the son of Christian. He was not listed in 1823 among Christian's heirs on a land transfer and several family listings also omit his name. Residences: 10/1/1807 Chillicothe, Ross Co, OH. The local newspaper carried a list of letters left at the Post Office, among which was a Henry Beaty in care of S Gundey. 1832 Shawnee Twp, Fountain Co, IN. 1840 Fountain Co, IN. At census time, he was a neighbor to son, David, while brother, John, and his son lived just down the road.

134 ii. Elizabeth "Betsey" VAN GUNDY was born March 31, 1805. She married George MAY. George was born about 1794. George was the son of George Jr MAY and Barbara VAN GUNDY. George died October 14, 1827 at 33 years of age.

135 iii. Susanna VAN GUNDY was born April 29, 1807. She married David Bookwalter in Ross Co, OH, August 19, 1830.

136 iv. Leah VAN GUNDY was born May 11, 1809.

137 v. Margaret VAN GUNDY was born July 9, 1811. She married Johnathan Bookwalter in Fountain Co, IN, May 8, 1834.

138 vi. Catherine VAN GUNDY was born September 18, 1813. She married Morgan Jones in Fountain Co, IN, January 31, 1836.

139 vii. Sarah VAN GUNDY was born December 2, 1815. Sarah died young.

140 viii. Sophia VAN GUNDY was born March 2, 1817. Sophia died February 25, 1883 at 65 years of age. She married William Hall in Fountain Co, IN, October 14, 1847. William was born in Ross Co, OH.

141 ix. David VAN GUNDY was born June 28, 1819. David died September 12, 1895 at 76 years of age. He married Isabella Taylor in Fountain Co, IN, December 20, 1839. Residences & events: 1840 Fountain Co, IN. At census time, he and his father were neighbors while uncle John, and his son, Peter, were just down the road.

142 x. John VAN GUNDY was born February 11, 1822. John died before 1850. He married Jemima Clark in Fountain Co, IN, August 24, 1843. Jemima is listed as head of the house in 1850. Residences: 1843 Fountain Co, IN, where he and Jemima are married. Vermilion Co, IL.

+ 143 xi. Samuel VAN GUNDY was born January 28, 1826.

+ 144 xii. Sarah A VAN GUNDY was born July 30, 1828.
