She married Henry Shirley in Logan Co, IL, April 18, 1869. Henry was born in KY January 1, 1841. Henry died 1918 in Logan Co, IL, at 77 years of age. His body was interred in Bethel Cem, Logan Co, IL. At 30 years of age Henry became the father of John H Shirley in Logan Co, IL, September 26, 1871. At 32 years of age Henry became the father of George A Shirley in Logan Co, IL, August 24, 1873.

At 23 years of age Martha became the mother of John H Shirley in Logan Co, IL, September 26, 1871. At 25 years of age Martha became the mother of George A Shirley in Logan Co, IL, August 24, 1873. Martha was baptized at age 16 at the Christian church on the Henry Musick farm, Logan Co, IL.

Martha A SMALLWOOD and Henry Shirley had the following children:

460 ii. George A Shirley was born in Logan Co, IL August 24, 1873.
