82. William⁵ VAN GUNDY (Jacob⁴, Capt Joseph Sr *³ Van Gundy, David² VAN GUNDY, Male¹) was born July 16, 1803. William died January 27, 1857 in Vermilion Co, IL, at 53 years of age. His body was interred in Gundy Cem, Myersville/Bismark, Vermilion Co, IL.

He married Keziah Johnston in Franklin Co, OH, by John Tipton, December 18, 1828. Keziah was born 1804. Keziah died October 30, 1853 in Vermilion Co, IL, at 49 years of age. Her body was interred in Gundy Cem, Myersville/Bismark, Vermilion Co, IL. One source says Keziah was married to William rather than Jacob. Perhaps she was married them both.

William VAN GUNDY and Keziah Johnston had the following children:

257 i. John V⁶ VAN GUNDY.

258 ii. Jacob VAN GUNDY.

259 iii. William VAN GUNDY. William died October 4, 1910 in IL. William was a 2nd Lieut w/Co B 150 IL Inf during the Civil War.

260 iv. Nancy VAN GUNDY. She married a Moyer.

261 v. Marie\Maria VAN GUNDY. Her husband's name was Church.

262 vi. Melinda VAN GUNDY. A Mr Brown was her husband.

263 vii. Sarah VAN GUNDY. She married a Gouty and had 3 children.
