80. Jacob⁵ VAN GUNDY (Jacob⁴, Capt Joseph Sr *³ Van Gundy, David² VAN GUNDY, Male¹) was born in PA December 15, 1798. Jacob died February 23, 1890 in Scotland Co, MO, near Crawford Station, at 91 years of age. His body was interred in Friendship Cem, Crawford Station, Scotland Co, MO.

He married Sarah Van Sciver in Franklin Co, OH, July 31, 1832. Sarah was born in Philadelphia, PA March 10, 1814. Sarah died December 6, 1906 in Crawford Station, Scotland Co, MO, at 92 years of age. Her body was interred in Friendship Cem, Crawford Station, Scotland Co, MO. At 19 years of age Sarah became the mother of William VAN GUNDY in Franklin Co, OH, May 7, 1833. At 20 years of age Sarah became the mother of Mary Ann VAN GUNDY February 20, 1835. At 25 years of age Sarah became the mother of Joseph VAN GUNDY August 25, 1839. At 28 years of age Sarah became the mother of Catherine VAN GUNDY August 12, 1842. At 31 years of age Sarah became the mother of George M VAN GUNDY 1845. At 34 years of age Sarah became the mother of Thomas Tousy VAN GUNDY September 19, 1848. At 35 years of age Sarah became the mother of Eliza VAN GUNDY September 5, 1849. At 37 years of age Sarah became the mother of Amanda VAN GUNDY January 12, 1852. At 125 years of age Sarah became the mother of Keziah VAN GUNDY August 25, 1939.

At 34 years of age Jacob became the father of William VAN GUNDY in Franklin Co, OH, May 7, 1833. At 36 years of age Jacob became the father of Mary Ann VAN GUNDY February 20, 1835. At 40 years of age Jacob became the father of Joseph VAN GUNDY August 25, 1839. At 43 years of age Jacob became the father of Catherine VAN GUNDY August 12, 1842. At 46 years of age Jacob became the father of George M VAN GUNDY 1845. At 49 years of age Jacob became the father of Thomas Tousy VAN GUNDY September 19, 1848. At 50 years of age Jacob became the father of Eliza VAN GUNDY September 5, 1849. At 53 years of age Jacob became the father of Amanda VAN GUNDY January 12, 1852. At 140 years of age Jacob became the father of Keziah VAN GUNDY August 25, 1939.

Jacob VAN GUNDY and Sarah Van Sciver had the following children:

+ 248 i. William⁶ VAN GUNDY was born May 7, 1833.

249 ii. Mary Ann VAN GUNDY was born February 20, 1835. Mary died January 7, 1892 in Memphis, MO, at 56 years of age. Mary Ann married a man by the name of Reason Ray and had 3 children.

+ 250 iii. Joseph VAN GUNDY was born August 25, 1839.

251 iv. Catherine VAN GUNDY was born August 12, 1842. Catherine died April 15, 1926 at 83 years of age. Catherine married twice, William Ray, no children; and Joseph Jackson Muir, by whom she had 7 children.

+ 252 v. George M VAN GUNDY was born 1845.

+ 253 vi. Thomas Tousy VAN GUNDY was born September 19, 1848.

254 vii. Eliza VAN GUNDY was born September 5, 1849. Eliza died February 3, 1883 at 33 years of age. She never married.

255 viii. Amanda VAN GUNDY was born January 12, 1852. Amanda died January 21, 1895 at 43 years of age. She married a man named Talbert or Talbott and had 5 children.

256 ix. Keziah VAN GUNDY was born August 25, 1939. Keziah died July 7, 1889 at less than one year of age. She was a twin to Joseph. She married a widower with 5 children and they had one more son.
