He married Mary G (Black) May 23, 1926. Mary was born February 23, 1900. Mary died November 1949 at 49 years of age. At 20 years of age Mary became the mother of Aurora Amado BLACK March 19, 1920. At 32 years of age Mary became the mother of Mary Jane BLACK April 12, 1932.

At 15 years of age Vernon became the father of Aurora Amado BLACK March 19, 1920. At 28 years of age Vernon became the father of Mary Jane BLACK April 12, 1932.

Vernon BLACK and Mary G (Black) had the following children:

646 i. Aurora Amado⁹ BLACK was born March 19, 1920.

647 ii. Mary Jane BLACK was born April 12, 1932. She married Male Larson.
