92. Catherine⁵ Shrom (Catherine⁴ VAN GUNDY, Capt Joseph Sr *³ Van Gundy, David² VAN GUNDY, Male¹) was born in York, PA February 15, 1796. Catherine died 1891 at 95 years of age.

She married George Beatty. George became the father of Eliza White Beatty 1833.

At 37 years of age Catherine became the mother of Eliza White Beatty 1833. Catherine was the third wife of George Beatty, following sister, Sarah, the second.

Catherine Shrom and George Beatty had the following child:

264 i. Eliza White⁶ Beatty was born 1833. She married William Henry Egle. He had an MD degree but was known for the many historical books he either authored or edited in conjunction with various agencies, including family genealogies.
