275. Valentine⁶ VAN GUNDY (Jacob Jr⁵, Jacob Sr⁴, Christian Sr³, Peter Sr², Male¹) was born in Ross Co, OH February 14, 1840. Valentine died October 18, 1912 in Ross Co, OH, at 72 years of age.

He married Catherine Jane McNeal in Ross Co, OH, by John Brown, JP, November 18, 1857. Catherine was born in Ross Co, OH April 7, 1837. Catherine died January 29, 1899 in Ross Co, OH, at 61 years of age. At 21 years of age Catherine became the mother of Lavina Jean VAN GUNDY 1858. At 26 years of age Catherine became the mother of Mary Catherine VAN GUNDY August 19, 1863. At 30 years of age Catherine became the mother of Nancy Ann VAN GUNDY April 14, 1867. At 32 years of age Catherine became the mother of Sarah Elizabeth VAN GUNDY in Ross Co, OH, October 7, 1869. At 36 years of age Catherine became the mother of Robert VAN GUNDY April 26, 1873.

At 18 years of age Valentine became the father of Lavina Jean VAN GUNDY 1858. At 23 years of age Valentine became the father of Mary Catherine VAN GUNDY August 19, 1863. At 27 years of age Valentine became the father of Nancy Ann VAN GUNDY April 14, 1867. At 29 years of age Valentine became the father of Sarah Elizabeth VAN GUNDY in Ross Co, OH, October 7, 1869. At 33 years of age Valentine became the father of Robert VAN GUNDY April 26, 1873.

Valentine VAN GUNDY and Catherine Jane McNeal had the following children:

428 i. Lavina Jean⁷ VAN GUNDY was born 1858. She married Henry lewis Minney and had 9 children.

429 ii. Mary Catherine VAN GUNDY was born August 19, 1863. Mary died January 8, 1903 at 39 years of age. Her husband, Charles Kohn, was a brother to James Kohn, who married Mary's sister, Sarah....i.e. sisters married brothers.

430 iii. Nancy Ann VAN GUNDY was born April 14, 1867. Nancy died 1899 at 32 years of age. She and husband, Enos Atwood, had 4 children.

431 iv. Sarah Elizabeth VAN GUNDY was born in Ross Co, OH October 7, 1869. Sarah died September 26, 1938 in Ross Co, OH, at 68 years of age. She married a man named James Nelson Kohn and had 11 children.

432 v. Robert VAN GUNDY was born April 26, 1873. Robert died September 2, 1878 at 5 years of age.
