At age 2, Terri fell into the floor furnace at home, severly burning the palms of her hands, necessitating surgeries with skin grafts to free her fingers over the years. However, this never prevented her from becoming an excellant typist and other than her fingers appearing
shorter, no one would ever notice.
While in Mattoon, Terri worked at the US Post Office as a mail handler/deliverer.
In Champaign, IL, she worked for a local fitness club, first as a part time physical fitness instructor, then as full time sales rep.
