He held various jobs throughout his life including bread route salesman, but ended up as a farmer. Following retirement he became a chauffer to the Amish, taking them on local errands as well as trips around the US.
He and Maxine now own a bed and breakfast called Curly's Corner (a play on words considering Warren is completely bald) in the heart of Amish land near the tourist attraction of Rockome Gardens, Arcola, IL.
The funeral was held at the First Christian Church at 10:30 AM with Rev Mark Prevo, Rev Eugene Black, and Rev Robert Clark officiating. Pall bearers were grandchildren: Bryan, Mark, Brad and Butch Clark, Dale, Neal and Kyle Perry, Michl Kearney and Brandi Robertson, Hannah Lindsay and Austin Arthur.
