Cora May DAVIS
In 1896 Cora was a witness for her mother-in-law, Mary Arthur, when she completed a Widow's Application for Accrued Pension. She lived at Mattoon, IL, at the time.
5/30/1927 In the Mattoon, IL news section of the Decatur (IL) Herald, the following article appeared:
"Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Arthur, was hostess to the members of the Women's Relief Corps, in her home one and a half miles north of the city all day Wednesday. The day was passed sewing on quilt blocks."
She died of liver cancer.
