4/7/1930 Garden View St, South Gate, San Antonio Twp, Los Angeles Co, CA. Apparently the family couldn't find their niche and had moved again. The census listed Claude B, 52, married for the first time at age 27, to Florence E, 46, who had married at 21. Claude was a mechanic in a tile factory, Florence a cutter in a knitting mill and apparently they had done well as they owned their home worth $4000, a fair amount for the day, but they did not have a radio. The boys were still at home, Wayne T, 14 (actually 24), was a knitter in the knitting mill, G Leslie, 18, was a clerk in a dry goods store, and Hugh M, 13, as at home.
