Otis seems to have been the leader of family activities, being instrumental in most of the big bashes in Illinois. Nephew, Robert Powell, said Otis seemed to be the black sheep of the family, that he was married, had 2 children and divorced. His ex-wife was employed by the General Motors Pontiac Division near Dearborn, MI.
