According to the census that year Perry and Fannie B were both 34 years old, married 11 years with 4 children, all living: Joe D, 9, Pauline, 7, Emily E, 6, and Perry S, 8 month. Also counted there was Julia Gennis, 19, servant. Perry was a salesman but of what is unknown, looks like gravity game (?).
5/19/1910 Nowata Ward 4, Nowata Co, OK. That year the census taker recorded Perry S and Fannie at 44, married 21 years with 4 children, all at home: Joe D, 19, Pauline F, 17, Emmily E, 15, and Perry S Jr, 10. The household also included nurse Gertrude Norcross, 34; boarder Elizabeth Brannon, 27, bank stenographer; and servant Peggy Martin, 21, cook. Perry was a bank cashier.
1/12/1920 Same place. By the next census Perry S, 53, had risen to manager of the bank and owned their home, free of mortgage. Wife Frances D was 50 and children still at home were Pauline F, 25, teacher; Emily E, 23, also a teacher; and Harry S (should be Perry), 20. They also had a servant, 20 year old Hattie Lett.
