6/21/1860 Same place, PO Chesterville. Listed as Abne in the cenus, he was 45 years old while Elizabeth was 32. Their children were James, 9, Alvira, 7, Emerachian, 4, and Alpheas, 1. David Exline was still next door.
Abt 1864 Abram served as guardian of Jackson Pixler's children. Jackson, son of George Pixler above, was killed in the Civil War.
1870 Dublin Twp, Mercer Co, OH. His family was recorded in the census there that year. He was a 55 year old farmer, his property = $3000/605. Wife Elizabeth was 42, and their children included: James, 19; Alvina, 16; Emma, 14; Alferd, 10; Edw, 10; and Della, 3. Next door neighbors were Joseph Henkle and Alex McMullen.
6/24/1880 Same place. That year his name was Abraham Vangunda, 65, still farming. Wife Elizabeth was 52. Children in the house were James K, 29, Rachel E, 23, Alphaus, 20, Elida, 15, Della, 12, and Myrta, 9.
