Clark Co, KY. All the children moved with their father except Francis Marion and his wife.

1 Nov. 1824, Bond, JESSE POWELL his security was Thomas Wiseman for the sum of $50 to John Hardwick, case was forcible entry and detainer which Powell was defendant, rendered in favor of Hardwick on 16 Oct. 1824, this was an appeal. Jury on 16 Oct. 1824 was Daniel Harris, John Stivers, Ira McCarty, John Chaney, Issac Dunaway, Edward Stivers, Littleberry Abney, Andrew Neal, Thomas Wiseman, Claiborn Barnett (foreman), John K. Powers, John Townsend.

POWELL entered into a room or house forcible in the possession of John Hardwicks, room was on Main Street in Irvine, on 16 Sep. 1824. Witness for Hardwick: Robert Clark, Hugh Wilson, Wm. McClain, John W. Runnels.

Oct. 1827 - JESSE POWELL, Jury member

Oct. 1828 - JESSE POWELL listed as bondsman for $60

Oct. 1829 - JESSE POWELL listed as witness for Lewis Winkler, defendant.

31 May 1831 - JESSE POWELL listed as a Jury Member.

2 July 1830 - JESSE POWELL listed as witness for Daniel Lowe.

22 June 1825, Accounts against the Commonwealth for guarding John and William Holeman to .......,JESSE POWELL, ......,total $10.50.
