Joseph Jr VAN GUNDY
From a Harrisburg, PA, newspaper of May 16: "Josph Gundy, a young man, died on Mon. last, (May 9) by the explosion of a still."
Letters of Administration on his estate were granted to his mother, Mary Gundy, Sr, and sister, Mary Gundy, on 5/16/1803. An inventory was filed but no further action was found on the estate.
When the Pennsylvania Railroad Station was built on the site of the old church and cemetery, his body was reinterred in the Harrisburg Cemetery in a plot purchased by his sister, Mary, in 1853.
His sponsors were Frederick and Elizabeth Kamper (Gamber).
