On 8-30-1854 she paid $4.25/acre to buy back the 600 acres of land which was originally conveyed to daughter, Nancy, but ordered by the Probate Court to be sold according to her husband's will.
On 7/14/1860 the census taker recorded her at age 66, a farmer with property worth $3600/4500. Living with her were sons Harvey, 24, and William, 26 (both dates wrong). Next door was son Jesse's family
Before her death she conveyed 200 of the 600 acres to son, William. From the balance, she donated 1 acre for a church and school and 4 acres for the Zumwalt Cemetery. The balance was distributed among her heirs on 4/28/1868.
