Shell Knob, Barry Co, MO. Following retirement he moved nearer the children. While there he joined the First Christian Church and the Masonic Lodge #674.
His obituary in the Shell Knob, MO newspaper said he died after a long illness but didn't state the cause of death. It also said he had lived in a retirement village in Kimberling City, Stone Co, MO for the 2 years prior to his death.
Survivors listed included wife Myrtle and children John and Barbara, both of Shell Knob, brother John W and sister Mary.
The funeral was held at the First Christian Church of Shell Knob on a Wednesday morning at 11 AM in a ceremony officiated by Rev Corky Johnson and Rev James Lee.
