Living with him was third wife, Dulcena, 35, their 2 daughters, Margaret C, 4, and Sarah R, 3, plus 3 Stevens step-children, John, 14, Nancy, 12, and Nathan, 10.
6/27/1870 Sullivan, Moultrie Co, IL. That year Lewis was 59, still farming with property valued at $1600/960. "Didama" was 46 and the children living there were Mary E, 15, Sarah R, 13, Catherine, 10, and Henry J, 7.
At one time Lewis owned land near the Van Gundy curve near Sullivan.
