3/27/1672 “a matter of difference between Ed. Cheesman and Thomas Cheesman and Symon Stubblefield” was referred to “judgment in England.”
1674-1675 Symon served on the board for escheated lands in the county.
4/23/1688 He was granted 288 acres of county land for transporting four persons into the colony. The land was near the courthouse and adjacent to the land of William Ross.
1704 Ware Parish, Gloucester Co, VA. He paid quit rents on 200 acres.
While there is no proof, Simon was probably the father of Edward and George Stubblefield
