1983 Marquette, Hamilton Co, NE. Moving in their old age to be nearer daughter, Sharon, he and Frances remained until their deaths.
He was the last surviving brother. According to his obituary he belonged to the Evangelical Free Church in Colorado Springs and attended a church by the same name in Central City. It also said "he loved music and was a choir member and a soloist."
Funeral services were held on a Friday at 2 PM at the Evangelical Free Church at Central City with the Rev David Hoesch officating. He was buried at 1 PM the next day.
