Notes for Thomas Madison GINN


Residences & events:

1800 Mason Co, KY. He moved with the family to the new frontier and was counted in the census there.

1810 Mason Co, KY. That census recorded 2 males under 10, 2 were 10-15, 1 at 16-25, Thomas at 26-44, 2 females under 10, 1 at 10-15, and 1 was 16-25. Step-mother Elizabeth Ginn, over 45, was also counted there with 1 male aged 16-25, as well as Benjamin Ginn, Laurence and James.

1820 Augusta Twp, Bracken Co, KY. At census time the Ginns were all in neighboring counties on the Ohio River. James and William were also living in Bracken Co. Thomas' household included 3 males under the age of 10, 1 age 10-15, 1 male 16-25, himself over 45, 1 female under 10, 1 at 10-15, 1 age 16-25 and 1 at 26-44. He was the only Ginn in the county.

1830 Same place. He probably had not moved. Living in his house were 1 male under 5, 1 age 5-10, 2 at 10-15, 1 at 15-20, 1 male 20-30, himself at 50-60, 1 female 5-10, 1 at 20-30, and 1 age 40-50.

Some researches have 4/3/1817 as his death date.
