Also living with them wre his 72 year old widowed mother and two uncles, George Scobey, 62, and Thomas Rudkin, 57. Next door were George and Louise Van Gundy.
5/2/1910 Same place. The census taker recorded George H at 50, married 26 years to Harriet E, 46, who had birthed 4 children but only 3 were still surviving. Only daughter Noda F, 11, was still at home but living with them were Myrtle Davis, 17, relationship illegible, and Herbert Quinn, 27, hired man. Next door was son Elmer, followed by George Van Gundy. Four doors down the other direction was son "Ervin."
1/10/1920 Morgan Lane, Chapin. George was 60 years old at census time, wife Harriet E was 55 and living with them was daughter Noda F, 20, and her husband Robert A Garner, 23. George was a general farmer. Son Irvin lived 3 doors down the street. Next door was Louis Vortman.
