10/1/1798 Berkeley Parish, Spotsylvania Co, VA. Col Harry's name was on the tax list of slaves. He had 10, more than average, so he must have had a fairly large plantation.

His dwelling was on a 2 acre plot on the bluff and consisted of a 1 story wood structure measuring 18x16 with 6 windows, 32 lights (8 & 10), the log kitchen was covered with boards and measured 14x12, the 16x12 corn house was also covered with boards. The assessor valued the place at 140 (?).
