MIAMI, Fla.-- William (Bill) Elliott, 51, of Miami, formerly of Mattoon and Neoga, died Friday (Aug. 14, 1992) at his home. The funeral will be held Monday at the Fed Hunter Funeral Home in W. Hollywood, Fla. He was born March 29, 1941, in Toledo, the son of Elmer and Erna Elliott. He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Johns) Elliott; three sons, Keith and Kevin of Miami, Fla., and Kent of Connecticut; his mother, of Mattoon; seven brothers, Lonnie, Don, Gary, and Randy of Mattoon, Larry of N. A ugusta, S.C., Jerry of Orlando, Fla.,and Richard of Little Elm, Texas; a sister, Kathryn Mann of Neoga and a grandson. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Elliott worked for Winn Dixie Supermarket for 33 years. He was a
member of the United Pentecostal Church of Miami, Fla.

William J. Elliott, 51, of Miami, a 33-year South Florida resident died Friday. He was born in Toledo, Illinois, on March 29, 1941 to Elmer and Erna Elliott. Bill shared his life with seven brothers and one sister. His marriage to Wanda Jones was celebrated on May 20, 1962. They were blessed with three sons, Keith, Kevin and Kent. Daughters in law Evy and Crystal
have now joined the family. His grandson, Auston, was a wonderful source of joy .
He was an executive with Winn Dixie and served the Miami Division in many capacities over the past 33 years. The United Pentecostal Church of Miami was his church home. Services were held Monday, August 17, 1992 at 2:00 P.M. at Sheridan Hills Baptist Church.
Even though Bill is buried in Miami, there is a memorial stone for him in the Elliott Cem, Cumberland Co, IL.
