Nancy Jane was only three weeks old when her mother Jerutia died. A family named Keeling took her in and reared her.The family then secretly moved from where George lived, fearing that George would reclaim her. Nancy lived with the Keeling's until her marriage at age 28. In later years she sought out and visited her Summa family in Indiana. This is according to Grover C. Zorn, son of Nancy Jane.
According to obituary for Margaret A. (Rose) Summa, Nancy was only sibling living in 1926.
She was living at Summa, Missouri.
