4/7/1930 Pct 1, Gulf 8 ? Camp, Stephens Co, TX. Back nearer home, it seems they lived in an oil field camp. Recorded in the census was Peter V, 40, married to Velma E, also 40, both married at age 21. The family had grown to include: Robert L, 17, Aubrey O, 15, Hubert W, 8, Elvert V, 7, and Lois O, 5. Peter owned the home with a $100/month mortgage and wored as a labore in the oil field.
