Michelle's father was an employee of CIPS, as was Todd's. She is an ambitious and frugal housewife and mother. She uses hertalents wherever they are needed, whether sewing curtains, assemblingfloral arrangements, refinishing furniture, or caring for her gardenand its fruits. She learned experimental cooking from her father andoften serves gourmet meals to family and friends. Her husband and children are her first concern and therefore does notfeel the need for outside employment. She is also active in thechildren's activities and their schools, often serving as PTA officer,room mother, or printing newsletters. |
| Although Todd and Michelle were friends in high school and graduatedin the same class, they never dated until later. The old adage"absence makes the heart grow fonder" must be true, as after Todd leftfor the Air Force they became serious. |
