See note on his father for details. 1768 John's land was used as a marker, along with that of John Davisand Zaccheus Davis, to describe property involved in a land transfer. 1779 & 1780 Earl Twp, Lancaster Co, PA. At tax time he was the only"Gundy" in the county. 1790 Lancaster Co, PA. Living with John at census time were 3females. 1800 John was still the only Gundy in the county, it seems he was theonly sibling to stay behind while the others moved west. |
