Kim is an active member of the Arcola "Lawn Rangers", a comical drill team which performs in parades. In the words of columnist Tom Kacich, they are "people whose sights are set a little lower, people whose call in life is to entertain, to wear funny clothes and push rusty lawn movers down a street in a spectacular fashion, usually carrying brooms." The group is made up mostly of Arcola citizens with a sprinkling of others, such as Dave Berry, columnist, an Urbana attorney, and a TV anchorman. They have become widely known and have even traveled to other states to perform as well. |
