General Note
He was a frail child and continued into adulthood with a weakconstitution, making farming a difficult way of living.

Residences & events:

1840 Fleming Co, KY, recorded in the census there as a farmer.

1850 Bath Co, KY. He had moved prior to the next census.

1860 Fleming Co, KY. Apparently there was no place like home.

1870 Cross Roads, Rowan Co, KY, near Farmers where he remained untilhis death, perhaps moving to be near children there. He owned 63acres on which he raised dairy cows, selling their products while hiswife wove and sewed for neighbors.

He was a straight-ticket Republican.

Death Note
He probably predeceased his wife.
