George was probably Jacob's son from a prior marriage as Malinda wouldhave been only 16 when

George became the 3rd postmasterof that office and serrved 1 1/2 year. The name of the station waseventually be changed to Allenville, IL. 1891 E Nelson Twp. He was elected township supervisor. 1896 Dora Twp, Moultrie Co, IL. Under the Democratic ticket he waselected as Pound Master (duties of such are unknown). |
