Delbert was a school teacher, deputy county clerk, farmer, andMethodist preacher, perhaps not
all at once though. He homesteaded a plot of land where he remained 2 1/2 yrs beforereceiving the news of his father's stroke. He packed his things toreturn home to tend to his father and the farm and never returned. Following his father's death, he moved the family to Cashion, OK wherehe began a preaching career. |
