John was a Methodist minister. Residences & events: 7/10/1809 Chillicothe, Ross Co, OH. He was listed in the localnewspaper among thos having letters at the Post Office. 1850 Nodaway Co, MO. Most of his family moved west when he did. 1859 Atchison Co, MO. He helped organize the Methodist EpiscopalChurch and among the charter members were: John, Leah, M A Van Gundy,S Van gundy and M H Van Gundy. 11/19/1867 He and Leah laid out the town of Milton. |
