since John Scoby's first son wasnamed James in honor of the grandfather. Also if the family
migratedvia waterways, James and 2 other sons may have stayed in Crawford Cowhile John forged
on to Monroe Co. Residences & events: 1820 Crawford Co, IL. His family, the only Scobys in the county,consisted of 3 males over 21 at census time. Newlands lived on eitherside of them. |
