Next door was sonJosiah and family, daughter Mary Ann Crum was just down the road. Another descendant said the 1850 census taker recorded Nancy andJosiah Daily, children of John and Betsy Maguire Daily, as living withJosiah in New Albany, Floyd Co, IN but in view of the previous item,that could not be correct. 1860 Vienna Twp, Scott Co, IN, was still his residence at the nextcensus. Aft 1860 Coles Co, IL. He apparently moved to be nearer hisdaughters in his old age. |
