Henry was our immigrant ancestor and the first of our line found inVirginia. Residences & events: England 1650 Old Rappahannock Co, VA. Some descendants say he was brought toAmerica by John Lawson, a large landowner. That same year his namefirst appeared in court records there. He remained prominent in thatarea until his death. "The house of Henry Berry of Occupacia Creek" is mentioned in therecords and he owned land on both sides of the Rappahannock River. 1676 Both Henry and son Henry were executors of the estate of a JohnButler of Westmoreland Co, VA. |
