It seems there is a conflict in this man's life. Some researchershave placed him as the son
of Enoch and Dulcebella but his dates don'tmatch that family. Others say that no wife or children
have beenfound for him and since his will mentioned only other relatives, it isassumed he never
married. And yet he has 2 wives listed here asplaced by others. Relatives listed in the will
are consistent withhim belonging to this family. Residences & events: 1793 Nelson Co, KY. At tax time he had 105 acres, 2 horses, 6cattle, and was the only male in the house over age 21. 1794 Nelson Co, KY tax records recorded his large Revolutionary Warland grand of some 4000 acres but it was supposedly in Logan Co. Alongwith the huge estate he was also taxed for 2 horses and 9 cattle.William was still in the same old neighborhood. Logan Co, KY Henderson Co, KY |
