There is an age conflict for both bride and groom as marrige recordssay Ida was 17,
Joel, 19. However gravestone dates made them 14 and 17.
His father and one of her parents, J Davis, gave their consents forthe marriage. Both the bride and groom were living in Chesterville,Douglas Co, IL, at the time so why were they married in Edgar?
