Her mother remembered her in a diary entry: "This is always a sad dayour Baby has been in Heaven 33 yrs today. The other children werejust getting over whooping cough, they all greved so, was pitiful,Ella would say 'dont cry Mommie hers sleepin' All the Folks were sogood to us & we had the other children & each other & Gods help, solife went on God has been so good, has spared our other 12 wonderfulchildren & given us so many beautiful Grand Babies, my heart justbursts with gratitutde. But this little Angel still holds her ownlittle place in my heart."
